With a twinkle in her eye and a laugh that could light up a room, Alisa "EE" Dillard decided to check out a bit early on February 22, 2025. Never one to let the grass grow under her feet, EE was always on the move. Her ambitious nature meant she was the first one up and the last one to bed, probably because she was too busy living life to the fullest to bother with something as mundane as sleep.
Born and raised in the neighborhoods of Sicklerville and Camden, EE had a way with people, a certain charisma that meant she never met a stranger, only friends she hadn't yet shared a joke with. Her hobbies? Well, she loved "watching the stories," as she called it. As Oscar Wilde once said, "Life imitates art far more than art imitates Life," and Alisa, with her knack for making any story sound like a grand adventure, was living proof of that.
Alisa is survived by her mother Vivian Dillard, her sister Islah Dillard-Mostafa and brother Isre’l Dillard. Brother-in-law Mahmoud Mostafa and Nieces and nephews, Alisha Dillard, JaShon Ward-Dillard, Jakere Ward, Amar Mostafa, Amir Mostafa and Amira Mostafa that loved and cherished her dearly. A host of aunts, uncles and cousins. The love they held for Alisa is immeasurable and will continue to grow in her absence. Every moment anyone shared with Alisa was a blessing and they will carry her memory with them every day.
Preceded in death by her father Gregory Tyrone Dillard who she is now with.
Alisa was an empathetic soul who could turn your frown upside down with her infectious humor and kind nature. She had a way of making you feel like you were the most important person in the room. And if you were lucky enough to be in her presence, you probably were. So, here's to Alisa Dillard, a woman who knew how to make life a bit more interesting, a bit more funny, and a whole lot more enjoyable.
In memory of Alisa, we encourage you to leave your favorite stories and upload your cherished photos of her to the memorial page. Let's celebrate her life, not with tears but with laughter, for as EE would say, "Why cry when you can laugh?"
