It is with a heavy heart that I, Samiah Rollins, write this obituary for my dear daughter, Sarai Latonya Rollins. Sarai, a bright spark that shone briefly but intensely, was born and passed on the same day, July 30, 2024, in our hometown of Camden, NJ. In her short time with us, she touched our lives with her loving spirit and courageous heart, reminding us of the beauty and fragility of life. Sarai, even though she was with us for a fleeting moment, showed a strength and warmth that was far beyond her years. Her courage was evident from the moment she took her first breath, showing us that even in the smallest bodies, the strongest spirits can reside. Sarai, my darling, you and I will continue to meet in the garden of my memory and the palace of my dreams. Sarai Latonya Rollins, my beloved daughter, has left a lasting legacy, despite the brevity of her life. The love and courage she embodied will continue to inspire me and everyone who knew of her.
