Christopher Guyton

–

Camden, New Jersey

Christopher Guyton, known to many as Chris, passed away on April 21, 2026. Born in Camden, NJ on November 15, 1988, he lived a life filled with dedication to his family and work. A reliable man, he was always there for his loved ones and colleagues, and his thoughtfulness was a trait that endeared him to all.

Chris was a dedicated employee for 7yrs at Shoprite, where he worked diligently in the Dairy Department. Always reliable, he was a cornerstone of the team, who could always be depended on. His colleagues often remarked on his supportive nature, which made for a pleasant and productive work environment. Beyond his work, Chris had a passion for anime, a hobby that brought him joy and relaxation. Maya Angelou once said, "You can only become truly accomplished at something you love," and this was truly the case for Chris. His passion for anime was evident in the joy and enthusiasm he expressed when discussing his favorite shows and characters.

Christopher leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication. He is survived by his wife Maria Guyton, his children, Alicia, Angeli, Josue, Gilbert, and Zoey. Grandchildren Joel, Ivan, Jay'shon, Treyana, Issabella, Alyaah, and Paris. Siblings Markia, Andre, Nazir. In-laws, Alicia and Felix. His family was his world, and his supportive and thoughtful nature made him a pillar of strength for them. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate his life, a life lived with purpose, dedication, and love.

A Celebration of Life for Christopher will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 6:00 pm at the Macedonia Baptist Church, 351 High Street, Westville, New Jersey, 08093. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of this remarkable man.

As we remember Christopher, we are reminded of the words of Helen Keller: "What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Christopher's memory will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew him.
