Claribel Concepcion

As we are all gathered here today, we are here to celebrate the life and loving memories of our big sister Claribel Concepcion, or as she was fondly known as, Clary. Born on the 6th of February 1976 in Camden, NJ, and a long-time resident to Gloucester City, New Jersey, Clary officially earned her wings and halo on the 9th of December 2024 becoming our angel.

Our loving, adventurous, loyal, and humble sister was full of life. She had an uncanny ability to crack open crabs with a precision that would put seasoned fishermen to shame while enjoying a screwdriver. Her hobbies included dancing like nobody's watching (even when they were), listening to freestyle music, and spreading positivity. Clary had an amazing personality, beautiful curly black hair (like Mufasa), with an amazing smile you could see a mile away. She always knew what to say to someone when she seen they were having a bad day.

In keeping with her loving nature, Clary left behind a small world of people who loved her dearly. Her family tree branches out to her mother, Haydee Rodriguez, and her stepfather, Jesus Noriega Sr. Her siblings Kimberly Noriega, Reinaldo Concepcion, Johnathan Noriega, Jesus Noriega Jr, William Concepcion, and Luciano Jr. Her nephews Jordan and Jovanni Noriega. Her Partner-in-crime and cousin to Jennifer Rodriguez. Mary Cobia (sister-in-law), Danilsa Perez (Second mom), she joins her uncles Heriberto, Antonio Albert, Confe. Her (father) Luciano Concepcion, and (grandparents) Victoria and Jose Rodriguez.

As we remember Clary, let’s recall the words of Dr. Seuss, “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” Her legacy is a lifetime of laughter, shared memories, and the reminder that life is a party to be enjoyed.
