Craig Robinson

Craig Leroy Robinson was born on February 12, 1974, in Bronx, New York, to Juanita Robinson and the late Steven Stubbs. He was lovingly raised by Charles A. Robinson. As the firstborn child, Craig shared a special bond with his sister, Tanya J. Robinson.

Craig was educated in the New York City school system and later attended a continuing education program in New Jersey, where he earned his high school diploma. Throughout his life, Craig was known as a hardworking, dependable man who approached life's challenges with determination and strength.

In April 2004, Craig married the love of his life, Kimberly McCoy. Together they built a loving family and shared a bond that remained strong until his unexpected passing. Their union was blessed with four children, who were among Craig's greatest joys.
Craig accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and carried his faith throughout his life. He was a kind-hearted man with a warm smile and a contagious laugh that could brighten any room. He enjoyed listening to music, working on electronics, training dogs, and spending time with the people he loved most.

Those who knew Craig knew him as a fighter. For years, he courageously faced serious medical challenges, enduring countless hospital stays and setbacks that would have discouraged many others. Even after spending months on a ventilator, Craig continued to push forward with remarkable strength and resilience. He rarely complained and instead met life's obstacles with courage, determination, and grace. His perseverance was an inspiration to all who knew him.
On May 22, 2026, Craig peacefully received his wings and entered eternal rest.

Craig was preceded in death by his father, Steven Stubbs; his beloved grandparents, Margaret Foster and Leroy Foster ; aunts, Yvette Clarke and Jacqueline Hinkson; and uncle, Leroy Foster. While our hearts mourn his loss, we find comfort in knowing that he has been reunited with the loved ones who went before him and welcomed him into God's eternal kingdom.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Kimberly McCoy; loving mother, Juanita Robinson; father, Charles A. Robinson; sister, Tanya J. Robinson; daughters, Nikwe McCoy and Jacquel Robinson; sons, Tyrell Robinson and Naquan Robinson; grandchildren, Kaiden Benjamin and Alonna Turlington; nieces, Taniya Robinson, Kwanasia Foggie, and Malia Campbell; nephews, Isaiah Robinson and Jeremiah Robinson; grandniece, Avaeh Foggie; and a host of other relatives and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Craig's strength, love, laughter, and unwavering resilience will never be forgotten. Though he is no longer with us in body, his legacy will continue to live on through the family and friends whose lives he touched.
