Gladys Figueroa Oliveras

Gladys Figueroa Oliveras, affectionately known by family as "Mama", embarked on her eternal journey on December 18, 2024. Born on November 18, 1949, in Cupey Alto, Puerto Rico, Gladys was a loving mother, a resilient woman, the best cook and a spirited individual, radiating warmth and love to all who knew her. Her love for Jesus Christ, and dedication to her family were the pillars that defined her. She truly touched the lives of everyone she encountered.

Gladys' life was a testament to her unwavering dedication and love for her family. She was a constant source of support and inspiration for her children Iris, Jose, Eddie and Maribel; and their respective partners; Amarily and Dialy. She was the proud grandmother of Jazzlyn, Chris, Xavier, Naldo, Pulito, Maicol, Omar, EJ, Joel, Chantel, Eli and Emi. Her legacy continues in her great-grandchildren Aiveah, Aleya, Jared, CJ, Carla, Alex and Jason. Her siblings Antonio, Antonia, Eddie and Jorge also survive her, along with her husband Tony and sister in law Iris. Her nieces and nephews were dear to her heart.

She will be missed by many loving friends that became family. Gladys was reunited in heaven with her parents, Modesto Figueroa, Pasquala Oliveras, and her brother Santos.
