Camden, New Jersey
Miguelina Orta, born on March 3, 1952, in Guánica, Puerto Rico, was a beacon of light and a pillar of strength in her family. A woman of adventure, dedication, and loyalty, Miguelina was known for her infectious laughter, compassionate nature, and fierce love for those dear to her. She spent her life living the words of Helen Keller, who said, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all." Miguelina's life was indeed a daring adventure that touched and enriched many.
Since her early years in Puerto Rico until her last days in Camden, New Jersey, Miguelina carried with her a spirit of exploration and adaptability, never shying away from new experiences or opportunities to learn and grow. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend to many, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her dedication was evident in her daily actions and her commitment to her family. As the saying goes, "A mother’s love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible," and Miguelina's love was indeed the fuel for her family.
Her love was a constant, unchanging beacon that guided her family through the difficulties and joys of life. She is survived by her loving children, Yolanda Padilla, Angel Orta, and Jeannette Padilla, who carry her adventurous spirit, dedication, and loyalty in their hearts.
Miguelina was preceded in death by her parents, Juanita Ramos and Miguel Orta. She was a living testament to the quote, "Love as powerful as your mother’s for you leaves its own mark…to have been loved so deeply…will give us some protection forever."
We invite you to leave your memories and upload photos of Miguelina to the memorial page. Her life was a testament to love, joy, adventure, and dedication, and we hope that sharing these memories will continue to keep her spirit alive in our hearts.
